The physical world certainly affects our metaphysical one, and this is true when they are opposite to each other. Eg: The metaphysical world affects the physical world equally. The water remaining in a pot matters. Let’s suppose that the pot is of metal, wood, or soil. The content of the pot hits the elements of the matter. Similarly, if water content has some ingredients, suppose it is alcohol in some quantity, it can affect the pot, too. Both are interconnected and both affect and get affected by each other. Any interaction in this world, between two bodies is bound to take change or interchange. We are trying here to understand our mysterious world. And we are not talking about research done in a lab, rather we notice that our life and our entire world are like our laboratory. In this context, one’s story or true experience might be a real story of another person or it might open a door and window to look inside and outside, just to understand our life, our world and finally us.
Who are we…? And why…?
Once a little daughter fell ill, she was restless overnight, having trouble breathing. Most of the time, her father cared for her and almost both the father and the little daughter were sleepless that night. Both were emotionally drained. It was a sudden allergic attack in the night and the trouble just sucked both.
The next day, on a broad day when the little daughter got some rest, the father along with the little daughter went upstairs on the terrace where varieties of plants had grown up. The father would water them daily in the morning. At times, he would take care of the plants by adding some fertilizer.. etc., and in those moments his little daughter would always accompany him. Her father always insisted that her daughter convey messages to plants asking them to grow and flower more. On that particular morning, after a troubled night was over, what they saw was shocking. When they got to water them, most of the plants, especially the calendula plant were faded and pale. They were leaning down. It shocked him, as he was convinced that he had visited them regularly, they hadn’t faded away out of the need for water or any other reason. But why? Why there was a clear-cut depressed emotion coming from them? The man felt sorry and asked her little daughter to just tell them that she was ok. They should not get down this way. Soon, by midday, the little daughter and all other plants, including calendula became once again healthy and happy. To let you know that there was a series of calendula plants in a row, including the rose and other plants. It was difficult to guess what the rose plants felt like, but here we have talked about what we envisioned. We can interact with most of our plants if we are connected in any way with them. They also react like birds and animals or humans upon our emotions, good or bad. Energy is all around. Here, our emotions and thoughts are the basic universal things.
Why does the great Buddha emphasize our thoughts? Thoughts create emotions, emotions create thoughts. We all are energy, all through and all around!
