In this case/example of king Janak, when he did vision the reality, question by question, step by step, and from the periphery to the core, traveled and found the truth. How does this symbolize that the state of an empire is confined to his mind, only? And even that mind, too, was not at his command! But, the question arises – who got to this visualization and all these circles on broader lines – that is, from the periphery to the core or from the core to the periphery? Certainly, it was not his mind or brain.
Then who witnessed the mind? (Although the mind just sees and is not sure, it might see a truth, it might, most probably see an illusion.
Yes, the question is: When does his consciousness reside ? It was his consciousness, the “awakened mind”. He saw with his inner eyes, his sixth sense. There was a mind, but an awakened one. The entire existence is then focused on one that is fixed on one thing only. That awakened mind just made his consciousness or existence be a witness only. You’re not a doer, since you cannot control anything. If you want to control something, then first control yourself, and that means to be able to control your own mind.
How can we control the mind?
This is only possible by:
Being a witness;
Being consciously awakened;
Being a part of this infinite world;
Losing your ego.
We’ll talk later about how we lose our identity to become a part of this cosmos. Being, just to see or watch everything happening around you, is becoming just like a witness.
You watch yourself: Your mind; Your body; Your consciousness; Your sorrow; Your delight; Your pain, and everything. Now, who is that witness, watcher, or viewer who also observes your mind, too? Is it: Your inner light? Your soul; Your awakened body; Your consciousness?
Ask yourself!
