Identity versus Ego

Who are we? What are our identities? Are we just flesh with blood and bones? Are we just an entity of a complex mind that is able to connect to millions and trillions of substances? Are we a body of different structures that are made up of different, but opposite kinds of elements such as fire and water…? Or, are we just a flowing energy? Is energy flowing above or below? Maybe some, maybe one, or all of the above…!

Have you tried to split your identity? Did you ever think the way in the search of your existence?
It’s very interesting to know that just our physical identity creates a very strong identity of ours which is called ego. Ego. Who am I? It means I’m that! I’m about this! I’m Mr. A. I belong to this. I do belong to my ancestors who were this and that! I’m white, I’m black or brown… so and so…!

When we start thinking that way, certainly we are under the influence of our ego power. The ego is also a type of power, but more negative. It’s subtle. It exists with us like a shadow. It’s only responsible for creating a complex entity of our existence. When we think, we belong to A ( a hypothetical identity) and we feel superior. It suddenly creates a question  – who is there in front of you? Certainly, if you’re Mr. A, who is superior, then beside you, Mr. B, is inferior to you (you think so). That being said, if you are, let’s say: “Aham Bramhasmi” (I’m the creator or I’m the world) then who are the others? Certainly, our ego offers the right answer at the right time. But, unfortunately, the closed eyes and the blocked mind are not ready to accept others’ existence; hence, a state of conflict is created there. This is the ego: subtle,  powerful,  abstract –  and it sucks.

Being a spiritual mind simply means shifting from a state of ego to a state of no ego. That shift is absolutely powerful and subtle. E.g.: a humble person who is not under the hood of egoism. It’s abstract too, but it removes all conflicting states of existence. It accepts air and earth simultaneously. It combines all different elements to become one entity. I’m A, and you’re B, too. I belong the same way you belong. We, together, are a part of this universe. What I do is a combined effort of all, I don’t exist alone, and I do exist with all of you together, organic and inorganic, with plants and animals, and with a variety of people of this world! I feel gratitude for this varied existence. Just one entity cell of this universe can shake the entire existence if disturbed. So, we are in the air,  in the fire, in the sky, and on the earth. We are the energy. We all, together, live. We live on this earth /universe with the purpose of spreading love and enjoyment.

Technically, a spiritual mind is an awakened mind, having no conflicts and accepting all!
